Hey Jeremy!
Thanks for writing about Minecraft and the positives behind it. Growing up in the hardcore first person shooter days really put a bad rep on me and my friends because they were considered to violent and would “rot our brains” and lead us to a life of despair.
Minecraft really changed how the video game world was displayed for a lot of kids my age back then. We finally felt as if there was a good balance of a game between adventure and action that even those with the tiniest spec of humanity could get behind. It awakened our brain to great things, and even made some of us into little coding demons when it came to creating mods.
Thanks for shining light on a piece of my childhood.
